Water
sports:
The
North of Peru has excellent conditions for swimming, fishing, and
in particular for practicing water sports requiring perfect waves
and smooth winds. Mancora has a well-known Surf Point and there
are facilities to rent surf equipment or to take lessons. Kite surf
is a new sport in Mancora, but the combination of perfect waves
and stable winds make this zone an ideal one to practice this discipline,
mainly from April to November.
